RSNA, Chicago IL, US 2018

The “RSNA” is the biggest Radiologist event in the world, hosted every year in Chicago. It is a huge achievement for Rambam medical center and Seatback to present at a conference that size (70K people). This is also a positive indication of our product capabilities. As we previously mentioned in Alon’s article , Seatback’s research at Rambam medical center was a huge success. During the trial, our device reduced as much as 28% of “bad posture time”. The participants - the physicians at Rambam's Medical Imaging Department used it, were impressed by the change they felt during the trial period while using the device, and were sorry to give it back at the end of the clinical trial.

On November 26, 2018, we arrived at the RSNA conference representing the research together with Rambam's staff. The Seatback device made a good impression on the researchers, doctors and engineers that attended the conference. This group of professionals are exposed to Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) due to long hours of sitting and working on computers, so they know the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle. According to research, 50% of radiologists suffer from back pain (1, 2). Following the presentation, we acquired a long list of medical centers, from 12 countries, interested in their departments utilizing Seatback.

Stay tuned and watch your back!
